Company A leverages its proprietary speech recognition and machine learning technologies to develop and deliver AI solutions focused on speech and language. By utilizing extensive conversational data, Company B has built advanced natural language processing technologies and machine learning algorithms, culminating in the creation of its speech recognition technology, Zeroth.

Challenges

Due to the high computing costs associated with machine learning technology and voice recognition services, there was a need for a cost-optimization solution for the AWS account to reduce operating expenses and enable ongoing cost monitoring.  

n.Xavis

To address these issues, we proposed a cost-saving solution that involved using NDS’s billing system (nXavis) along with Reserved Instances and Savings Plans applied to the Amazon EKS-based infrastructure. Additionally, we evaluated the customer’s service operations and used AWS Cost Explorer to analyze hourly commitment amounts, ensuring that RI and SP purchases were optimized for their needs.

Benefits

The customer’s service structure incurs high costs for computing resources, necessitating cost reduction and continuous cost monitoring. Therefore, NDS proposed cost and RI/SP monitoring using n.Xavis, along with RI/SP purchases.
